This niche product is the result of more than 25 years of research and development, which is the reason for the fruit's exclusivity. Now the company, which distributes its products in neighbouring countries and on the domestic market, will start exporting to Europe.

Russia and Panama share similar views on forming a polycentric world order based on the principles of international law, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday in a congratulatory address to his Panamanian counterpart Isabel Saint Malo devoted to the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. The address was read out by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov at the reception in the Russian Foreign Ministry to celebrate the anniversary.

Panama to Enhance Solar Power Tax Breaks

Legislation before Panama's National Assembly would further enhance the tax incentives available to the solar power industry. The Chairman of the Committee on Trade and Economic Affairs, Quibián Panay, said the bill would expand on the tax breaks currently available under Law 37 of June 10, 2013. The legislation would exempt imports of items used to install photovoltaic systems from import duties. The import duty waiver will be available to both companies and individuals.

Panama wants to collaborate with Dubai International Humanitarian City as it builds the first humanitarian hub in the Americas. The Central American country is also looking to build up infrastructure around the widened – canal to meet an expected increase in trade volumes. While in Dubai, Maria Luisa Navarro, the vice minister for multilateral affairs and cooperation of Panama, also met various UAE businesses ahead of the opening of the expanded Panama Canal, scheduled for the week of June 16. “The areas in which there are natural connections would be development of ports, the energy sector, tourism, infrastructure and real estate," she said during a visit to Dubai.
