Panama continues being one of the fastest growing economies in Latin America supported by its key sectors like Logistics, Agroindustry, Financial Services and Tourism; looking to explode Mining and Oil prospects of the country.

In the Doing Business Ranking 2014, Panama, has risen six places, occupying the 55th place out of 189 countries according to the World Bank.

In regards to investment ratings, Panama is expected to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world in 2014. Moody's raised Panama's sovereign debt rating to Baa2 from Baa3. The outlook has been revised to stable from positive. Panama's sovereign debt is also rated as investment grade by Fitch (BBB rating) and Standard & Poor's (BBB rating).
