Considering that many VIP and Maritime Top Level Executives would be in Panama for the inauguration of the Expanded Panama Canal, Mare Forum held its first conference in Panama on Friday, June 24th. Among the keynote speakers were Philip Embiricos, Member of the Advisory Board of the Panama Canal, Past President f BIMCO, and Conference Chairman; Jannis Kostuoulas, President, Mare Forum; Jorge Barakat Pitty, Administrator General of the Panama Maritime Authority; Jorge Quijano, Administrator, Panama Canal Authority; and Alberto Aleman Zubieta, Former Administrator, Panama Canal Authority.
